The Mitsubishi Freeca is a compact MPV designed bi Mitsubishi Motors an China Motor Corporation for the Asian mercat, an biggit in Taiwan, Cheenae an the Philippines, whaur it is kent as the Mitsubishi Adventure. It wis first released on September 11, 1997,[1] an the 50,000t Freeca wis manufactured in the Philippines plant in Mairch 2005.[2] In the Philippines, the Adventure wis gien major redesigns in 2001 an then 2004, then a minor facelift in late 2009.
The vehicle is forby kent as the Mitsubishi Kuda in Indonesie whaur "Kuda" means Horse in Indonesian an whaur it wis locally manufactured till 2005, an Mitsubishi Jolie in Vietnam. The model name "Freeca" is coined frae "free" an "ca", the Taiwanese for vehicle.[1] The Cheenese factory forby manufactures badge engineered Freecas for the Sooth African mercat, which are locally assembled in Cape Toun as the Africar Landio an Africar Jockey.[3]
