eeditOn 16 Apryle 2010 it wis annooncit that Smith jyned the Brisbane Roar on a twa-year deal efter his contract wi North Queensland expired due tae awnership chynges.[1] On 6 September 2011, the Roar annooncit that Smith wad replace depairtit midfielder Matt McKay as caiptain o the club.[2] On 10 September 2012, Smith signed a new 3 year contract at the Roar, extendin his stay until the end o the 2015/16 season.[3]
