Katzir-Harish
Katzir-Harish (Hebrew: קָצִיר-חָרִישׁ) is a toun (local cooncil) in the Haifa Destrict o Israel. It is an agglomeration o the veelages Katzir, Harish an Mitzpe Ilan, near Umm al-Fahm in the Wadi Ara region. At the end o 2006, the toun's population wis 3,900.[1] Its jurisdiction is 9,736 dunams.[2]

History
eeditHarish wis foondit bi Nahal in 1982 an convertit intae a kibbutz in 1985. Katzir wis foondit bi the Fermers Union o Israel. The veelages wur mergit in 1993.[3] The maister plan o Harish wis prepared bi the airchitectur firm Mansfeld-Kehat Architects. The plan caws for the expansion o Harish tae Heich-gate 65 in the north, an Baqa-Jatt in the sooth.[4]
Initially Harish wis enveesioned as a Haredi ceety afferin law-cost hoosin tae this sector.[5] In 2012, a secular buyers group organized tae bid on lots zoned for 400 housing units thare.[6]
