Kapısuyu
Kapısuyu is a veelage in Samandağ destrict o Hatay Province, Turkey. It is near the Mediterranean coastline an in the wastren slopes o the Nur ( Amanus) Muntains at 36°08′N 35°56′E / 36.133°N 35.933°E. Distance to Samandağ is about 10 kilometre (6.2 mi). The population o the veelage wis 1773 [1] as o 2011. The veelage wis a important dounset in the auncient ages. Aroond 300 BC Seleucia foondit the port ceety o Seleucia Pieria. But the dounset lost its importance efter the great yirdquauk in 528. The veelage's maist important biggin is its Mosque. The name o the veelage means "Watter gate" or "gate o watter".[2]
