José María Morelos
José María Teclo Morelos y Pavón (30 September 1765, Ceety o Valladolid, nou Morelia, Michoacán – 22 December 1815,[1] San Cristóbal Ecatepec, State ofi México) wis a Mexican Roman Catholic priest an revolutionary rebel leader who led the Mexican War o Unthirldom muivement, assumin its leadership efter the execution o Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla in 1811. He wis later captured bi the Spainyie colonial authorities an executit for traison in 1815.
