Heydar Alirza oghlu Aliyev or Geidar Aliev (Azerbaijani: Heydər Əlirza oğlu Əliyev, Roushie: Гейда́р Али́евич Али́ев, Geidar Aliyevich Aliyev; 10 Mey 1923[1] – 12 December 2003), spelt as Haydar Aliev or Geidar Aliev an aw, wis the third Preses o Azerbaijan for the New Azerbaijan Pairty frae October 1993 til October 2003, whan his son Ilham Aliyev succeedit him.
