Franz Ferdinand is a Scots indie rock baund frae Glesca. The baund's début album, itsel cried Franz Ferdinand, cam oot in 2004 an débuted on the UK album chairts at nummer three, winnin the 2004 Mercury Muisic Prize.[1] Up tae nou, the baund haes pit oot seeven singles; "Take Me Out", "The Dark of the Matinée" an "Do You Want To" wis tap ten hits in the UK. Thay wis influenced bi 1980s post-punk, garage rock an new wave.
