The motto 'Satyameva Jayate' inscribed belaw the emblem in Devanagari script means 'truth alone triumphs'.
The version uised as the emblem daes no include the bell-shaped lotus flouer aneath. The frieze aneath the lions is shawn wi the Dharma Chakra in the center, a bull on the richt an a gallopin horse on the left, an ootlines o Dharma Chakras on the extreme richt an left.[1]
