Drumlanrig (Scots Gaelic: Druim Lannraig) is a clachan in the historical coonty o Dumfriesshire, in Dumfries an Gallowa, Scotland. The clachan is best kent for the nearby Drumlanrig Castle.

The earliest record for Drumlanrig is fae 1834, spelt Drumlangryg. The're a nummer o likely etymologies for the name. It micht represent the Cumbric drum "rig" + -lanerc "a smaw airt o cleart wuidland". Houiver the first element micht be an aw Scots Gaelic druim "rig", addit til aither a Cumbric name or til the Scots lang rig "a lang rig".[1]
