In the shield, on a blue sky backgrund, the sun's yellae rays can be seen ahint the daurk broun muntains risin abuin the blue an green ocean.
The banners o the Sooth American naitions an a bananae tree can be seen ahint the shield. A condor on the left an a llama on the richt act as supporters.
Aw this wis on tap o a baroque base, wi a scroll unner it wi the motto "Renació el sol del Perú" ("Peru's sun is reborn") in caipital letters. Some flouers, branches an ammunition wur on the base.

Thir generatit that, months efter its creation, that the seals o meenistries modified the law, cuttin the width o the shield tae design the cornucopia comfortably, an gettin rid o the escortin banners.
