The main square is Piazza Garibaldi which is adorned wi mony fine biggins includin the toun's principal kirk, the Chiesa Madre, which in its present form dates back tae the 16t century. Inside the kirk are stuccoes bi Ferraro an Giacomo Serpotta.

Near the kirk is the Municipio (toun haw) an an aw close bi is the Chiesa del Purgatorio, biggit in 1624–64, wi its façade filled wi statues.[1]
