Carron Watter, Dumfries an Gallowa
The Carron Watter (Scots Gaelic: Carrann) is a watter o the River Nith in Dumfries an Gallowa, soothwast Scotland. It rises in the Dalveen Pass in the Lowther Hills as its heidwatter burns, the Dinabid Linn, Dalveen Lane, an Lavern Burn jyne tae flowe soothwart, til the wast o the veelage o Dusdeer, tae meet the Nith at Carronbrig.[1]
