It wi foondit in 1894,[1] an established as a municipality in 1926. The municipality is dividit intae the barrios o Cabaiguán, Neiva, Pedro Barba, Guayos an Santa Lucía.[1]

Cabaiguán is better kent for its cigars; a well-kent buist is Bausá. An aw, the tobacco producit here is vera guid.
