Bjørnstjerne Martinius Bjørnson (8 December 1832 – 26 Aprile 1910) wis a Norse writer who received the 1903 Nobel Prize in Leeteratur "as a tribute tae his noble, magnificent an versatile poetry, which haes always been distinguished bi baith the freshness o its inspiration an the rare purity o its spirit". Bjørnson is considered tae be ane o The Fower Greats (De Fire Store) amang Norse writers, the ithers bein Henrik Ibsen, Jonas Lie, an Alexander Kielland.[1]
