Bekbele
Bekbele is a toun in İskenderun destrict o Hatay Province, Turkey. It is situatit maistly tae the east o Çukurova Motorwey at 36°37′N 36°14′E / 36.617°N 36.233°E. It is awmaist mergit tae İskenderun. The distance tae Antakya (the admeenistrative centre o the province) is aboot 80 kilometre (50 mi). The population o Bekbele is 7412 [1] as o 2011.The dounset wis foondit in bi a tribe named Abacılı frae Dulkadir territory (present Kahramanmaraş Province) o the Ottoman Empire towards the end o the 18t century. Accordin tae mayor's page, Abacılı which refers tae manufacturin coarse ooen cloth wis a subtribe o Bayat, a Turkmen tribe.[2]
