Azat, Armenie
Azat (Armenie: Ազատ, Romanisit as Azad; till 1935, Aghkilisa) is a veelage in the Gegharkunik Province o Armenie. The veelage haes a hivily ruined 11t century kirk an a pair o medieval khachkars. The veelage wis the birthplace o the celebratit Azeri fowklore poet Ashig Alasgar (Ashug Alesker) (1821-1926).[1]
