He mey hae been the "Artasyrus" mentioned bi Herodotus as bein a Satrap o the ryal satrapy o Bactrie.

In Greek soorces he is an aa surnamed μακρόχειρ Macrocheir (Laitin: Longimanus), allegedly acause his richt haund wis langer nor his left.[4]
