Antonio Quijarro is a province in the central pairts o the Bolivie Potosí Depairtment situatit at the Salar de Uyuni. Its seat is Uyuni.

eeditAntonio Quijarro province is ane o saxteen provinces in the Potosí Depairtment. It is locatit atween 19° 21' an 20° 59' Sooth an atween 65° 46' an 67° 15' Wast.
It borders Oruro Depairtment in the north, Nor Lípez Province in the wast, Sud Chichas Province in the sootheast, Nor Chichas Province an José María Linares Province in the east, an Tomás Frías Province in the northeast.
The province extends ower 180 km frae east tae wast an 225 km frae north tae sooth.

eeditThe main leid o the province is Spaingie, spoken bi 87 %, while 74 % o the population speak Quechua. The population increased frae 37,384 inhabitants (1992 census) tae 37,428 (2001 census), an increase o anerlie 0.1 %. Caipital o the province is Uyuni (10,191 inhabitants).
53 % o the population hae nae access tae electricity, 85 % hae nae sanitary facilities. 50 % o the population are employed in agricultur, 8 % in minin, 5 % in industrie, 37 % in general services. 86 % o the population are Catholics, 11 % Protestants.
The fowk are predominantly indigenous ceetizens o Quechua an Aymara strynd.[1]
