Anau
Anau (an aa spelled Annau, Turkmen: Änew), Turkmenistan, caipital o Ahal Province, is a ceety 8 kilometers sootheast o Ashgabat which is connectit via the M37 hieway. Traces o habitation in the aurie date back tae 3000 B.C.
The name Anau is frae Persian ab-i nau (آب نو) meanin "New Water".[1]
