Al-Haffah Destrict

Al-Haffah Destrict (Arabic: منطقة الحفة‎ / ALA-LC: Minṭaqat al-Ḥaffah) is a Sirie destrict (mantiqah) admeenistratively belangin tae Latakia Govrenorate. The centre o the destrict is the ceety o Al-Haffah. At the 2004 Census it haed a population o 81,213.[1]

Al-Haffah destrict is locatit in the aurie o An-Nusayriyah muntains east o Lattakia. It is an important tradin centre whare local fermers sell thair aiple fruits an ither products. It haes a significant historical importance as it wis ane o the main strategic pynts o the invadin Crusaders. It is hame tae the Salah Ed-Din Castle; a UNESCO Warld Heritage Steid.
