Oreeginally cried Semaine Internationale des Sports d'Hiver ("Internaitional Winter Sports Week") an held in association wi the 1924 Simmer Olympics, the sports competitions wur held at the fit o Mont Blanc in Chamonix, an Haute-Savoie, Fraunce atween Januar 25 an Februar 5, 1924. The Gemmes wur organized bi the French Olympic Committee, an wur in retrospect designatit bi the Internaitional Olympic Committee (IOC) as the I Olympic Winter Gemmes.
