Şehitkamil (Kurdish: Alêban) is a destrict o Gaziantep Province o Turkey. It is pairt o Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality. It contains the auld ceety, includin Gaziantep Castle, as well as the University o Gaziantep. The population is 593,958 as o 2010. On 20 August 2012, a bomb attack occurred, killin at least aicht an woondin nearly 64 fowk.[2]
