The Watter o Luice is a river in Dumfries an Gallowa in soothwast Scotland.[1]

Glenluce Viaduct

The Main Watter o Luice rises in Sooth Ayrshire, flowes sooth tae New Luice, whaur it is jynt bi the Cross Watter o Luice, an flowes intil the Solway Firth at Luice Bay. The Luice is crosst bi the aight-airch Glenluce Viaduct near Glenluice. This viaduct ance cairrit the Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway tae Stranrawer.

Fishin eedit

The Upper Proprietor is Dr Sir Nicholas Spicer Bt o the Lagafater Estate, while the Lower Proprietor is the Rt Hon Yerl o Stair o the Stair Estates.[2] The fishin is governt bi the Luce District Salmon Fishery Board.[3]
