The Viperidae (veepers) is a faimily o venomous snakes foond in maist pairts o the warld, excludin Antarcticae, Australie, New Zealand, Madagascar, Hawaii, various ither isolatit islands, an north o the Arctic Circle. Aw hae relatively lang, hinged fangs that permit deep penetration an injection o venom. Fower subfaimilies are currently recognised.[2]
