Valtu Manor (in Swadish Waldau, in Estonie Valtu mõis) is a ruined an pairtially rebiggit manor in Valtu. The first record o the manor wis in 1412. Frae 1588-1828 the Tiesenhausen faimily awned the manor an it wis later awned bi faimilies namit Stackelberg, Ungern von Sternberg, an Meidel. Durin this time it wis considered tae be a wirk o classic Estonie airchitectur.[1]
The main biggin wis burned durin the Revolution o 1905. Its ruins wur destroyed, but several ootbiggins hae been restored. A Dutch windmill biggit aboot 1815 on the steid an the Manor are offeecially leetit as pairt o Estonie's cultural heritage.[2][3]
