The Vale of Berkeley Railway is a heritage railwey in Gloucestershire, Ingland. It aims tae use the existing Sharpness Branch line from Sharpness tae Berkeley Road, formerly the Severn & Wye Railway.
A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) has been set up an an ingineerin facility has been established in the Old Engine House, beside the docks in Sharpness. Volunteers are wirkin on various restoration projects.[1]
Durin 2017, an ecology survey was conducted an an initial planning application was made tae Stroud District Council. The society hopes tae move on tae the site an start clearin wirk in 2018.[2]
