The Corries war a Scottish folk group that startit fae the Scottish folk revival ae the eerly 1960s. The group wis a trio fae their formation wi Paddy Bell, Roy Williamson, Bill Smith and Ron Cruikshank, till Cruikshank contracted glandular fever and wis replaced by Ronnie Browne. They wir called The Corrie Folk Trio and Paddie Bell. Later i' 1966 whan founder Bill Smith an' Paddie Bell left th' baund, Roy Williamson and Ronnie Browne kept as a duo till Williamson deid in 1990.

The Corrie Folk Trio appeared on television fir the BBC on th' Hoot'nanny Show an' gained popularity, notably singing the Braes o' Killiecrankie.
