Taleex
Taleex or Taleh (Somali: Taleex, Arabic: تلأ ح) is a toun in northeastren Somalia. It haes a population o 32,100 inhabitants, an is the administrative centre in the Taleex district o the Sool region Puntland Government

Taleex wis the centre o the anti-colonial movement led bi Mohammed Abdullah Hassan till 1921, when he an his Dervish followers wur defeatit. The toun wis subsequently subjectit tae aerial bombardment, an Hassan wis forced tae abandon his palace there an retreat intae the Ogaden.[1]
