Shohimardon (an aw Shahimardan or Shakhimardan, Roushie: Шахимардан) is a smaw toun in Fergana Province in eastren Uzbekistan. It is an exclave o Uzbekistan, surroondit bi Kyrgyzstan, in a glen in the Pamiro-Alai muntains. Accordin tae legend, the Caliph Ali wis buriet in Shohimardon. The Uzbek poet Hamza Hakimzade Niyazi livit an wirkit in Shohimardon till he wis murthert thare in 1929.[1]
