She is marriet tae Carlos Augusto Rosado, son o umwhile Govrenor Dix-Sept Rosado an haes fower childer: Lorraine, Charles Edward, Karla an Marlos. Her husband's sister, Ruth Ciarlini, wis a state representative an is nou deputy mayor o Mossoró.

She wis electit mayor again in 1996 an re-electit in 2000.
