The River Ugie (Scots Gaelic: Uisge Ùigidh) or Ugie Watter is a river in Scotland. Locatit in the north east, it flows intae the North Sea on the east coast at Peterhead, north o Cruden Bay.[1] Thare is conseederable evidence o prehistoric settlement within the Ugie drainage basin, especially in the Sooth Ugie Watter catchment basin. For example, the Catto Long Barrow[2] is foond somewhit to the sooth o the Ugie Watter mainstem.
