The superhei structur haes the same name as the North Tower o the oreeginal World Trade Center, that wis completely raxed in the terrorist attacks o September 11, 2001. The new skyscraper staunds on the northwast corner o the 16-acre (6.5 ha) World Trade Center steid, on the steid o the oreeginal 6 World Trade Center.
