Nimrud
Nimrud (Arabic: النمرود) is the Assirian Neo-Aramaic name for the auncient Assirian ceety o Kalhu (the Biblical Calah), locatit 30 kilometre (20 mi) sooth o the ceety o Mosul, an 5 kilometre (3 mi) sooth o the veelage o Selamiyah (Arabic: السلامية), in the Nineveh plains in northren Mesopotamie.
