His first sangs as Eddy Gallardo wur "Billy Bom", "Jenny", "Sentimiento", an "Explosion de Amor" aw o which wur released as singles.[3] Ane year later, he chyngit his stage name tae Miguel Gallardo an released several singles includin "Quedaté" which wis inspired bi Pablo Neruda's poem Farewell an peakit at nummer ane on the Spainyie singles chart.[4] In 1975, Gallardo recordit his first studio album Autorretrato which contained the lead single "Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti" an wis released bi EMI Records.[4] Gallardo dee'd frae cancer in 2005 an his remains wur crematit.[5]
