The Kuiper belt /ˈkpər/ or /'køypǝr/[1] (as in Dutch), whiles cried the Edgeworth–Kuiper belt, is a circumstellar disc in the Solar Seestem beyond the planets, extendin frae the orbit o Neptune (at 30 AU) tae approximately 50 AU frae the Sun.[2]
