Koinobori (鯉のぼり), meaning "cairp streamer" in Japanese, are cairp-shaped wind socks tradeetionally flewn in Japan tae celebrate Tango no sekku (端午の節句), a tradeetional calendrical event that is nou designatit a naitional holiday; Childer's Day (Kodomo no Hi, 子供の日).[1]
