Rev John Jamieson FRSE FSA Scot FRSL (3 Mairch 1759 – 12 Julie 1838) wis a Scots meenister o releegion, lexicographer, philologist an antiquary. His maist important wirk is the Etymological Dictionary of the Scottish Language (1808 & 1825).
