Hesiod (/ˈhsiəd/ or /ˈhɛsiəd/;[1] Greek: Ἡσίοδος Hēsíodos) wis a Greek poet generally thocht bi scholars tae hae been active atween 750 an 650 BC, aroond the same time as Homer.[2][3]
