Henry Home, Laird Kames (1696 – 27 December 1782) wis a Scots advocate, juidge, filosofer, writer an agricultural improver. A central feegur o the Scots Enlichtment, a foonder member o the Filosofical Society o Edinburgh, an active in the Select Society, his protégés includit David Hume, Adam Smith, an James Boswell.
