The Euromaidan (Ukrainian: Євромайдан, Yevromaidan, leeterally "Eurosquare")[nb 1] wis a wave o ongangin demonstrations an ceevil unrest in Ukraine, which began on the nicht o 21 November 2013 wi public protests demandin closer European integration. The scope o the protests haes syne evolved, wi mony crys for the resignation o Preses Viktor Yanukovych an his govrenment.[5]
