Dirleton is ae village an parish in East Lothian, Scotland aboot 20 mile (32 km) east o Edinburgh oan the A198. Dirleton lies atween Berrick (east), Guillan (wast), Fenton Barns (sooth) an the Yellowcraigs Nature Reserve, Archerfield Estate an the Firth o Forth (north). Guillan parish wis eikit tae Dirleton parish in 1612 by an Act o Parliament fur "Golyn (as it was anciently spelt) is ane decaying toun, and Dirleton is ane thriven place."[1]
