Dana Welles Delany (born Mairch 13, 1956) is an American film, stage, an televeesion actress, producer, presenter, an heal activist. Delany haes been active in shaw business syne the late 1970s. Follaein smaw roles early in her career, Delany garnered her first leadin role in 1987 in the short-lived NBC sitcom Sweet Surrender an achieved wider fame in 1988–1991 as Colleen McMurphy on the ABC telly shaw China Beach,[1][2] for which she wan twa Primetime Emmy Awairds (1989, 1992). She received further recogneetion for her performances in the films Light Sleeper (1992), Tombstone (1993), Exit to Eden (1994), The Margaret Sanger Story (1995), Fly Away Home (1996), True Women (1997), an Wide Awake (1998). Syne the mid-1990s, Delany haes served on the buird o the Scleroderma Research Foundation.
