Daihatsu Pyzar

The Daihatsu Pyzar, sauld in some export markets as the Daihatsu Gran Move, wis a mini MPV manufactured bi the Japanese automaker Daihatsu frae 1996 tae 2002. It wis based on the chassis o the Daihatsu Charade.

The Pyzar haed a 50/50 split foldin rear bench seat, which providit for it bein registered as a fower-passenger vehicle in maist kintras. Wi the rear seat folded, the Pyzar's cargo compartment haed lenth o 1.50 m.

Mid-life facelift

Efter three years in the mercat, the Pyzar wis afforded a mild facelift - the front fascia wis slichtly altered (new headlights haed clear turn signals) an body decals wur rearranged mair in line wi the smawer Daihatsu Move's stylin. Concurrently, a version o the 1.6 L ingine replaced the previous 1.5 L in export markets.

The Pyzar wis a FF layout caur wi a transversely-mounted ingine. The 1.6 L version coud an aa be haed wi full-time all-wheel drive, available anerlie in the domestic mercat.
