Communist Pairty o Vietnam
The Communist Pairty o Vietnam (CPV)[a] is the foonding an ruling communist pairty of the Socialist Republic o Vietnam. Syne 1988, it haes been the Ainely legal pairty in the kintra. The current pairty's leader is Nguyễn Phú Trọng, who holds the titles of General Secretary of the Central Committee an Secretary of the Central Militar Commission.

The pairty is kent for the advocacy of what it calls a "socialist-orientit market economy". The heichest insteetution of the CPV is the pairty's Naitional Congress which elects the Central Committee. In atween pairty congresses, the Central Committee is the supreme organ on party affairs. Immediately efter a pairty congress, the Central Committee elects the Politburo an Secretariat an it appoints the First Secretary, the heichest pairty office.
