Catalan Republic (2017)

The Catalan Republic (Catalan: República Catalana) was a proposed unrecognised secessionist state that declared Independence from Spain on 27 October 2017.[1] The Spanish Government imposed direct rule under Article 155 of its constitution in reaction to this.
