Atvena's Wake wis oreeginally formed back in late 2006 an quickly creatit a lyal audience. They play a ticht style solid, stroang, contemporary metal muisic. They incorporate mony influences frae various genres such as symphonic black metal, daith metal, hardcore an even some thrash metal at times. There are mony terms that dominate the hivy soond o the baund. The soond is mixed in wi melodic pairts aw aggressive daith metal. The vocals an aa follae the same path as the hivy muisic. Hardcore mixes are haurd tae melodic death metal soonds an a bit o thrash metal an symphonic black metal.

In 2008, the baund finished recordin their first EP cried "Hermetica", refers tae the auncient Greek texts (300 - 600 BC) cried Hermetica. The album wis offeecially released in 2009.

In 2010, the baund annoonced that they wad be brak up. Their final shows teuk place on Februar 5 an 6 in that year.
