Anke Spoorendonk (born 21 September 1947 in Busdorf) is a German politeecian frae the SSW. Syne 12 Juin 2012, she haes been the Meenister for Juistice, Cultur an European Affairs in the state govrenment o Schleswig-Holstein.[citation needit]

Spoorendonk is a pairt o the Dens minority in Schleswig-Holstein. In 1976, she graduatit frae the Varsity o Copenhagen wi a maister's degree in German studies an History. Frae 1977 tae 1996 she wis a teacher at the Duborg-Skolen in Flensburg. Spoorendonk is a widow an haes twa childer.[1]

Poleetical life eedit

Frae 1996 tae 2012, she wis a member o the Landtag o Schleswig-Holstein, representin the SSW, which represents the interests o the Dens an the Frisie minorities. In this period she wis as well the leader o the SSW group in the state pairlament.[citation needit]

Efter the 2012 election, she wis appointed meenister for Juistice, Cultur an European Affairs in the newly shapit coalition govrenment cried Dens traffec licht coalition which consists o the Social Democrats, the Green Pairty an the SSW. It is the first time in history that this coalition haes been shapit. The govrenment is led bi the Social Democrat Torsten Albig.[2]

Acause o her appointment as a meenister, she resigned her office as a member o the Landtag tae pass it on tae anither representative frae her pairty the SSW. [3]
