Ali Abdullah Saleh

Field Mairshal Ali Abdullah Saleh (21 Mairch 1942 - 4 December 2017) wis the first Preses o the Republic o Yemen. Saleh wis the last Preses o the Yemen Arab Republic (North Yemen) frae 1978 till 1990 an aw, at which time he assumit the office o chairman o the Presidential Cooncil o a post-unification Yemen. He wis the langest-servin preses o Yemen, rulin frae 1978 tae 2012.[3] He signed a greement in November 2011 that cried for him tae relinquish office bi Februar 2012.[4]
