Alexander Ranaldson Macdonell
Colonel Alexander Ranaldson MacDonell o Glengarry (15 September 1773 – 17 Januar 1828), whiles cried bi the Gaelic version o his name, Alastair or Alasdair, wis clan chief o Clan MacDonell o Glengarry. As wis customair for a laird (laundit proprietor in Scotland), MacDonell wis aft cried Glengarry efter his principal estate.[1]
