In Greek meethology, Alcmene or Alcmena (Ancient Greek: Ἀλκμήνη or Ἀλκμάνα [Doric]) wis the wife o Amphitryon. She bore twin bairns, Iphicles, bi Amphitryon, an Heracles, whase faither wis the god Zeus.[1][2][3]
